He made breakfast for himself... he was eating halfway, when he looked at his watch, he realised that he was running late... He quickly drank up his coffee, bite the remaining bread in his mouth and hurried for the door.

Xiaobai's mother was awakened by the noise from the opening of the door. She got up and saw xiaobai leaving the house... Looking at the clock, it was only 7.45am, she did not know where xiaobai was going....



Mother: "Xiaobai~, now so early, where are you going?"

After ahxings died from running, his spirit was brought away to report to the GOD, and to decide either to go to heaven or go to hell...

Upon reaching, ahxings finally saw the GOD of this world!!!

We Were Soldiers

3 gruelling weeks of confinement had finally ended... ahxings can finally book out and go home for the 1st time ever since he entered BMT... ahxings was delighted...

Carrying his heavy field pack and his tired body, ahxings left Tekong ferry terminal heading towards Pasir Ris MRT station. The train finally arrived, ahxings boarded the train happily. As it was Saturday, the train was filled up with people very quickly, all the seats were very fast occupied. Although tired, ahxings had to stand throughout the journey......

Wearing the military uniform, looking at his own darkened skin from those few weeks of training, ahxings felt a sense of ownership towards his country and a deep sense of pride... He felt proud of himself...

As the train reached Kallang MRT station, ahxings caught sight of a pregnant lady entering the train. She was carrying many packets of groceries in her hands. Ahxings thought to himself that naturally those people sitting down would give up their seats to her.




However a few stops had passed, but the pregnant lady was still standing beside ahxings... NO ONE HAD GIVEN UP THEIR SEATS TO THE PREGNANT LADY!!!

"Next stop, Tiong Bahru."

By now ahxings really could not stand it anymore.... HE HAD HAD ENOUGH!!! Right from the start when ahxings had boarded the train, he had noticed a malay guy all along sitting down in the seat which was reserved for the needies. He was listening to his fucking loud mp3 and ignoring the people who needed the seat more than him! Ahxings took a step forward and approached him...






Ahxings: "Excuse me sir, do you know that this seat is reserved for other people who needed it more than you? I am sure that you have 2 legs and have no problem standing, therefore I would appreciate it if you would kindly give it up NOW!!" (LOUD AND CLEAR)

Everyone on the train heard ahxings and were looking at the malay guy... feeling ashame, the malay guy dare not utter a word but immediately stood up and alight from the train. Everyone on the train then was full of admiration and respect for this young man in the green uniform, deep in their heart they were convinced than these were the soldiers whom they could really trust to defend the country!

The pregnant lady looked at ahxings with gratitude...

Pregnant lady: "谢谢你！" (sweet)
Ahxings: "不用!" (firm)

The pregnant lady bent over to pick up her groceries. After picking up all the packets, she lifted up her head and was about to approach the empty seat, she suddenly realised that.......

Ahxings had taken up that empty seat... ahxings was fast asleep................

Year after year, training after training. Blisters covered his fingers. But all these were unable to discourage him. Lokky was determined to master his piano skill and drill them to perfection! Whenever he encountered failure and felt demoralised, he would think of 'her' to motivate himself to go on... Lokky will say to himself, deep in his heart: "Yun! For You, I WILL GO ON!!!"

Time flies... The day has finally come. Lokky had finally mastered his skills to perfection, and had practiced the song countless times! He knew that this time, it is DO OR DIE! He must succeed! He already had everything in mind. He knows what he needs, he knows who to look for, and he knows where it should take place! He knows he will succeed! His dream is finally coming true!

Lokky smashed all his piggy banks, took all the money he had saved since he was born and went to the piano shop to buy the piano to be used. He looked around for a few hours, non of them was suitable... suddenly his eyes caught sight of a piano...










It was pure white in color, as pure as an angel's heart, just like Lokky's dream girl. That is it! Without thinking, he bought it immediately.

Next Lokky called up the people he needed for help. He called Ahxings and Jag. They arrived at Lokky's house to give him their assistance. They helped him carry the whole piano to a romantic beach.










The piano was placed at the shore of the beach. Lokky will then perform the love song to yun on water... It will be so mesmerising and romantic that no girl will be able to resist!

Lokky proceeded to yun's house to fetch her over. It was a surprise, yun does not know what was awaiting her... She followed Lokky to the beach, still not knowing what he was up to.










Yun: "Lokky, why did you bring me here? What do you want to show me?" Lokky: "Yun, i have been waiting for this day for so long, please wait and see what i had prepared for you, only for you...!" Yun was now very anxious to see what Lokky had prepared for her... she was excited......

Lokky told yun to close her eyes and wait by the edge of the shore... She closed her eyes... bright sun shines on her pretty face, gentle sea breeze brushed past her rosy cheeks, cold sea water washes her tiny feet... she stood there waiting with anticipation...... Lokky slowly walked into the water towards the piano...... every now and then, he will turn back and glance at yun's happy face.

Lokky was equally excited. As he was approaching the piano, to his horror, he discovered that the piano was nowhere in sight. He could not find the piano on the water. He looked around frantically for his piano, but to no avail! Lokky panicked! He turned around and got up to the shore to find ahxings and jag to help him look for his piano, however they are no where in sight too! Lokky could not find them at all!!! Lokky was desperate...

Actually ahxings and jag were not alert when helping Lokky look after the piano while he went to fetch yun. Instead they were sun tanning on the beach. When they finally woke up, the high tide had already set in and submerged the piano. They knew they had cocked up Lokky's plan...





They decided to RUN! They got into jag's car and escaped from the scene...... Lokky still could not find his piano after searching the entire beach for an hour... his dream perished, his heart died... Lokky was devastated......

Yun was still closing her eyes and waiting in anticipation...... (but feeling abit sweaty now...)
